Central Isuzu Launches State-of-the-Art Dealership in Rockhampton
Central Queensland just got a major upgrade, with Central Isuzu officially opening the doors to its impressive new home in Parkhurst, Rockhampton. The dealership’s new location offers expanded capacity and modern amenities for truck sales, servicing, and parts, reflecting the growing demand across the region.
Now based at Barton Court, the 8,000-square-metre site replaces the former Gomersall Rd address and introduces a host of customer-focused enhancements.

“A Long Time Coming”
Simon Harris, Central Isuzu’s General Manager, said the move has been a major milestone.
“After a decade at our previous site, the new dealership is a game-changer for the team and our customers,” Mr Harris said.
“With a workshop now twice the size, the facilities are everything you'd expect from the top truck brand in the country. It’s modern, spacious, and built to support our future growth.”
The upgraded space also allows for a greater display of Isuzu's latest range, giving visitors an up-close look at the newest models.

Built Around Customer Needs
Mr Harris emphasised that today’s customers expect not only great service but speed and convenience — especially when it comes to aftersales care.
“This move helps us better serve those needs, ensuring trucks are turned around efficiently and customers are back on the road faster,” he said.
“Our new parts department is better stocked than ever, which means reduced wait times and more uptime for our customers.”

Solidifying Central Queensland’s Network
Dealer Principal Mark Dobson said the new site was a significant step for the brand’s presence in the region.
“Our customers travel from across central and western Queensland, so having a facility like this shows our commitment to serving them well,” he said.
“The feedback from customers so far has been incredibly positive — they appreciate the added comfort and professionalism of the new space.”

A Benchmark for the Network
Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) Director, Ben Lasry, praised the Rockhampton facility as one of the most advanced in the Isuzu network.
“Out of more than 70 Isuzu dealer locations nationwide, Rockhampton’s new site stands out for its design and execution,” Mr Lasry said.
“The strength of the Central Isuzu team is evident in what they’ve built — it’s not just the infrastructure but the people and culture driving it.”
Ready for the Road Ahead
Looking to the future, Mr Dobson said the team is eager to see the new Isuzu models hit local roads.
“After seeing what Isuzu brought to the Brisbane Truck Show, we’re excited for what’s ahead,” he said.
“There’s something special about seeing those trucks leave the dealership with satisfied customers — that’s what it’s all about.”
