Founded in 1991 and based in Macksville, Midcoast Trucks (MCT) has evolved from a family-run used truck dealership into one of the Mid North Coast’s prominent commercial vehicle providers. A major turning point came in 1999 when it secured the region’s Isuzu franchise, accelerating growth and broadening its market reach.

Today, MCT employs approximately 130 people and delivers a complete, end-to-end service offering, including vehicle sales, maintenance, custom fabrication, paint and panel, detailing, parts supply, and transport solutions. Custom truck builds and specialised fabrication continue to be a key and growing segment of the business.

MCT takes pride in its strong staff retention, with many employees developing long-term careers across three generations—highlighting its deep-rooted connection to the local community.

The company is now centralising operations at a purpose-built, 18-acre reconditioning and fabrication facility in the Centra Park Industrial Area. Expected to be completed in September 2026, this project will drive workforce expansion, boost regional employment, and reinforce MCT’s ongoing commitment to Macksville and the wider Mid North Coast.
