MKD Transcorp Strengthens Fleet with 14 New IVECO S-Way Trucks
Expanding Capacity, Reliability, and Customer Confidence
MKD Transcorp has continued its steady growth with the recent addition of 14 IVECO S-Way trucks to its fleet, including 11 AT 460 prime movers and three AT 360 rigids. The investment supports the company’s expanding interstate freight operations and further enhances its reputation for reliability and customer-focused service.
From its beginnings in 1999 with a single truck operated by founder Igor Cvetkoski, MKD Transcorp has evolved into a leading transport and logistics provider, now employing more than 215 staff and managing a fleet of over 100 trucks and 400 trailers. Under the leadership of Igor and his brother Zak, the company runs double shifts seven days a week, moving freight along Australia’s eastern seaboard and into Adelaide.

A Commitment to Reliability
General Manager Noel Ryles says the company’s success is driven by a clear formula:
“Our motto is ‘Committed to Reliability’ — we live and breathe it. That focus on dependable service has helped us grow alongside our customers, secure long-term contracts, and expand through referrals and recommendations.”
With much of its fleet fitted with refrigerated trailers, MKD Transcorp is able to maximise efficiency by backloading perishables, while also handling container freight from ports to distribution centres and managing local distribution across Sydney.
Why IVECO S-Way?
The latest additions mark a new chapter for MKD Transcorp, with the IVECO S-Way chosen to meet growing operational needs in Melbourne.
“We won a major Melbourne contract and needed to expand our fleet,” Ryles explained. “We’d been using another European brand, but were starting to see friction points. After evaluating the options, the IVECO S-Way stood out for reliability, safety, driveline, and payload.”
IVECO worked closely with the company, providing driver training, strong aftersales support, and telematics solutions, ensuring a seamless integration into MKD’s operations.

Driver and Fleet Benefits
Feedback from drivers has been overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the trucks’ comfort, safety, and drivability. According to Ryles, fuel efficiency and low emissions performance have also impressed, reinforcing the decision to expand the IVECO share of the fleet.
“Reliability, safety, and support were key in our decision,” Ryles said. “The S-Way has delivered on all fronts — and our drivers are happy with them, which is equally important.”
Peace of Mind with Maintenance Support
To provide cost certainty and convenience, MKD’s new trucks are backed by a 5-year / 600,000 km Easy Road maintenance package. This program includes scheduled servicing, pick-up and delivery of vehicles, and helps streamline operational planning by reducing unexpected maintenance costs.

Looking Ahead
With over six months of service under their belts, the IVECO S-Ways have already proven their worth in one of the nation’s most demanding logistics networks.
“The S-Ways are a great product — we’re very happy with them,” Ryles concluded. “They’ve slotted seamlessly into our fleet, and with the support of IVECO, we’re well-positioned to continue delivering on our promise of reliability.”
