SYDNEY, NSW – Protran Solutions Pty Ltd has acquired Thermal Mark Industries, a long-standing Australian transport refrigeration specialist established in 2002, strengthening its position in the national cold-chain and transport refrigeration market.

The acquisition expands Protran Solutions’ capabilities across refrigeration system supply and installation, servicing and repairs, preventative maintenance, spare parts support, and cold-chain compliance. It also supports the company’s plans to introduce sustainability-focused transport refrigeration products in 2026.

Protran Solutions General Manager Grant Turner said the acquisition brings together complementary expertise with a shared focus on reliability and customer uptime.

“This is a strategic step that enhances our technical capability while maintaining the high service standards our customers expect,” Turner said. “We’re investing in solutions that improve performance today and support sustainability objectives across the transport refrigeration sector in the years ahead.”

Thermal Mark Industries will continue operating from its existing facility at Penny Place, Arndell Park, NSW. All employees will remain with the business, including founder Marc Gauci, ensuring continuity for customers and partners.

Gauci said Protran Solutions’ vision aligned closely with the business he built over more than two decades.

“Their focus on premium products and customer-first service made this a natural fit,” Gauci said. “I’m pleased to continue working with the team and help deliver expanded capabilities to our customers.”

Protran Solutions confirmed that the acquisition will not impact existing customer contracts or service arrangements, with operations continuing seamlessly under the new ownership.
