If Tranto doesn’t have the exact vehicle needed in its fleet, it will work with its network of industry partners to have it made.

Tranto business development manager Kylie Hall said the long-term hire contracts are designed to help businesses manage their cash flow and free up capital for important investments in their own infrastructure.

“Our services include truck body repairs, spare pats and tail gate repairs.

“We ensure that your equipment stays in optimal condition and is ready to perform at its best.”

Many of the builds are custom designed and made for clients. These include builds done on trucks that can be driven on a car license.

Examples of recent truck builds supplied to clients include a Hino 300 re-rated to 5500GVM with a Tranto cantilever platform, single side door, and track and shoring bars with handles.

There is also an Isuzu NRR 45-150 truck with a one-ton cantilever and fitted in line with customer requests with a side passenger door at the rear of the body, three rows on the side wall, a bull bar and uprated to 5500GVM.

One client requested a 10-pallet pantech build and has since taken delivery of the Isuzu FDR 110-260 with the pantech body, 2-tonne tailgate, bull bar, nose cone and window tinting.
